Header Installation Problems
Another typical truck day, I spent 6 hours doing a 2 hour job. Last Sat. I put some Flowtech headers on my 350. Passenger side went on great, except I broke the plastic cover on my cylinoid (I thought I could get away with not taking off the starter). Worst part is I didn't break it with the header!
When I put on the driver's side I had all kinds of problems. My temp sensor was in the way so I had to back it out a little, getting coolant everywhere. Then the header got wedged somehow and I spent freakin forever trying to get it unstuck. In addition to all of this my truck is not in a garage and it is like 30 degrees outside with additional breeze. The finale was when I put on my plug wires and the boots sat right up against the pipes! I was so pissed I broke off one of the plugs. ![]() ![]() ![]() Roman
