Discussing with another member about light duty trucks and cab lights. Here are 3 that i have. A 70, 71 and 72. These all have the "fireman hat" style. Does anyone have a pic of the hockey puck style after 1970? Feel free to add any info on this. Enjoy the pics also.

your 70 has the wrong lenses on it. In 69 and 70, they got the hocky puck ones like this...

I have clear ones on mine now, P/N is the same for back up lenses for a stepside.

Andy, is there a chance the 1/2 ton models could have got the other style? I have had that truck since 89 and those were on it then. I know the hockey puck lenses were in 69-70 but i have only seen them on the c-30 and bigger in those years. On a side note, all 3 trucks have the raised roof pads for the lights.
My wifes 70 has the "teardrop" style, but i don't think it is listed on the spid in hers.

you can find the parts at swap meets and buy a brand new set from lmc truck and others. yankee brand chome teardrop lamps came on my dad's 72 burb 1/2 ton. i saved them and they are going on my 3/4 ton burb so it will compliment the family's 71 holiday camper like back in the 80's when i was a kid. we've had that camper for 25 years....looking forward to getting out....but anyway....the roof lamps make a truck look like a big rig and look awesome at night!

I`ve only seen`69s with the hockey puck lenses.I figure some`70s got some left overs from`69.It`s like they were made up real quick when they were mandated,since they are actually amber reverse lenses.At least,that`s the mold they were made from.I figure they made those until a permanent solution was made.I had an all original Custom Camper/30 that had the later domed style.
