I found out that it was the fan switch that was blowing my fuses. Got a new switch and now it only works on high. Also, when I had the heater & A/C control panel loose from the dash to put in the new switch, I noticed one of the vacum lines is missing and another is cut right outside the firewall. I don't know where the heck these are supposed to plug in. Does anybody know where I might find a vacum line routing diagram or anything that might help?
Thanks so much! |

Those diagrams were a big help, Thanks! Any ideas why the fan only comes on high now?

the fan switch feeds current through a resistor to slow the fan motor down on low and med. The high side is a direct path. My guess would be that your resistor block is fried.

And you will find this inside the heater box tucked away real nice, I had the same problem. Kept blown fuses when I turned on the fan, changed the switch , no help, changed the resistor, ALL FIXED. a real pain working under the dash
