1971/72

1969/70

I have a 72, the grill is pretty messed up. I ended up getting a 1970 grill from a guy at the junk yard. Still not sure if i wana put it on. I like the style of the 72 but mine is not as nice as the one i just bought.

So which do you all prefer?

Yeah me too so far.

I have to admit that the truck from "Dazed and Confused" has me lovin 72's style. Its a tough choice.

I have a 70 but I changed my grill to an all black 71/72

. I think it just looks clean.

What can i say, its time for a new one?

Besides, im only interested in the two i have listed, simply because those are the 2 i have to choose from at the moment.

Wasn't trying to bust your chops, just noticed you are new to the board and tossed the search option out there...last two large threads on this were from Oct 09 and April 09. But you are correct, they included 67-68.

And my two cents (actually not really worth that much

) I like the 71/72 style. Never got into the 69/70 even though Ive had a couple (parts trucks).

I personally, have always favored the 69/70 grills over the 71/72 grills. I think they just have a more defining look to them. However, I also beleive in keeping the truck what it is. If it's a 72, keep it a 72. If it's a 70, keep it a 70. Etc., etc.

You can install the 69/70 grill in it until you get your original restored or get a new one.

i like the 67-68 Chevy grille the best, but out of the 2 you are trying to decide from i pick the 71-72. painted black of course.
