Lowering a 1970 c10 on 20's without airbags

New to this forum so this may have already been addressed.

I am working on my first project truck, and I want to lower my 1970 c10 which is on 20”/ 22” wheels – does anyone have suggestions on front lowering kits and rear frame rail kits.

Please click on my profile and you will see the general idea of the look I am looking for. Front tires will be smaller than the ones on the rendering.

Thanks

Re: Lowering a 1970 c10 on 20's without airbags

If you do some searching around or looking in the builds section you will quickly learn there are many ways to lower. The two basic ways are static (lowering springs) or air (air bags).

That image of the truck you have is pretty low...you could go 5/7 static drop...combo of drop springs and spindles up front and drop springs and blocks in the rear. Or go air and notch the rear. You will find fans of both on this site. You will find that in most cases a static drop is more reasonable and simpler than an air setup.

Have fun...oh, and
