I like checking out a few other of the forums out there, and i was just wandering what other sites you guy's and (gals) check out. This site is by far my favorite one to visit. What are your favorites?

Re: other forums

This one is my favorite by far.

I have gone to others, but they are usually so out of control it's not worth the hassle.

I use to go onto a Toyota Tacoma forum, and all those people do is complain about the most stupid things on their trucks. Then if they aren't whining about how their seat belt doesn't retract fast enough, it's just a trolling flame war fest that even the mods participate in. ugh...

Re: other forums

I participate in a few. One about HHRs, Chevelles, and a couple about woodworking. This one is by far the best.

This one is number one!

A few others that I frequent are TrailVoy, Pirate, and ExpeditionPortal.

This is by far my favorite though. The staff keeps things in line, and there are lots of friendly and helpful folks.

Re: other forums

www.nissan4wheelers.com for those of you who might own a Nissan 4x4, but it's an open site for all 4x4s. This is my site and I've had it up for about 8 years. Somewhere around 6000 members on it. There's no site on the web with more tech threads on doing solid axle swaps into these trucks.

Re: other forums

ck5.com has some cool stuff but I prefer this site.

I was looking at buying a 2010 Subaru Outback and joined subaruoutback.org and learned a lot about Subies. But I'm broke and want another truck so I hardly ever visit that site.

This site rocks!

Re: other forums

Used to go to a couple Jeep forums when we had a Jeep.... and a Miata forum, when we had a Miata.

Currently go to a couple Toyota boards, because we have a Tacoma (notice a pattern here?)

But no question about it, this site is the best, hands down!

http://forums.iboats.com/ is the only other place I go. the people there are about as cool as here. kinda wide spread so meet-n-greets don't happen as much.
LOTS of technical advice for the aquatically insane, like me. LOL

Re: other forums

This is a great site, IMO. Real folks from all walks of life, with trucks in all state of disrepair , and I don't get the feeling that some think they are better than others. Very well run, without all the crap that turns me off on some sites.
Occasionally, I also check out chevelles.com (some entertaining folks there) and gbodyforum.com (slow, not much going).
