Lowering help?

I'm new to these trucks and I want to lower the truck. I have a 72' C10 longbed. I've lowered rearends before but never done the front end. Can you guys point me in the right direction for a kit or springs or just pointers? I'm not gonna slam it or bag it but I want a nice low stance that helps fill the wells with tire. I'm putting on 15" rallyes, 215/60 fronts and probably 225/70 in the rear, still not absolutely sure. I want to do it all myself so any cutting or welding will probably be out.

Re: Lowering help?

Thanks for the help fellas. Ding, i looked at the site but it had some trouble. I've got leafs in the back and I didn't see any kits for that. I'm not lookinng to spend a fortune but I'm not cheap either. Especially if it looks good.

If you have leafs- check out DJM Suspension for a leaf spring "flip kit". That'll get you about 5" lower in the back. If that's too much- a set of drop shackles and or spring perches will yield a 1.5 to 2.5 inch drop. Pair that up with some drop coils / spindles up front and you are good to go.

Thanks again Ding, I'm not sure if I'm gonna go 5" down but the truck sits pretty high as it is. Alot depends on the wheel tire combo. I'll check out that other site, Thanks again.
