wheel?
I know this topic has been beat to death but I'm new to the forum and would appreciate any HELP!!
That being said, I want American Racing TTII's for my 69 Stepside, I have all the parts for a 3.5/5" drop and i cant decide what size wheels i want. Im considering 17",18", and maybe even 20". Can somebody please post some pics and include drop and wheel size. What is the widest wheel i can use without any cutting? Any advice on tire brand? Thanks for any input J __________________ 1969 C10 stepside

Re: wheel?
The first 2 trucks are runnig a 4/6 drop with 17x8/17x9.5 TTII's 255/60/17-275/60/17 tires.
The truck in the last two pics are SactoJim's truck. He also has a 4/6 drop with 18x8/18x9.5 Vintecs with 255/50/18-275/55/18 tires I'll try to find more pics later, but alot of guys with 17's run 17x8 front with 255/50/17, 17x9.5(10) with 275/50/17 tires

I'm running Front 215/70/15...... Rear 275/60/15 I originally was going to go with 20" in Back/18" in Front. My Wife said I should leave it as is, and after posting a similar thread (with a Poll Question), I decided to stick with my 15" Ralley Wheels and save myself $2-3K. I'll put THAT money into a GM Crate engine since mines getting tired. Just my .02 cents worth.

Re: wheel?
I agree with you Roger. Ever since i saw Dazed and Confused ive been looking for a 72 short fleetside(Black of course). WHEN i find it and buy it. I will absolutely run 15" Ralleys. No question
However, i cant get the idea of some TTII's for my stepside out of my head. Thanks for the photos

Re: wheel?
Roger, I just noticed how your exhaust kicks out right in front of your tires. That looks tough!
