Any of you pull a treiler that uses the flat 5 connector (using backup lights)?

I have a friend with a Triton Boat that I pull regularly with my Dodge. It uses the "flat 5" style connector, incorporating the backup lights as a safety brake. Not only does the trailer have reverse lights, the brakes will engage if the trailer tries to roll backward without the lights receiving juice.

Do any of you have your truck set up for this application and if so how did you make it happen short of rewiring my '68 K-10.Truck doesn't have backup lights. I guess I could just install a direct wire with a switch to flip.

PS, I am installing a Turbo 350 auto in this truck real soon, would it work to install a neutral safety switch/backup switch for this reason?
