Body bushings
I need to buy some new cab bushings and core support bushings. the truck is a 72 but i am using a 67 clip.
i see that 67-68 are listed differently and i was just wondering if the difference is in the frame or the core support. do i need to use the 67 bushings or the 72? what is everyone's opinion on rubber vs. poly? Thanks Ryan |

Re: Body bushings
I have a 69 with a 67 clip and I just replaced the cab bushings and core support bushings. Right or wrong- I used 69 bushings on the cab and 67 bushings for the core support. No issues yet. I will have to admit- changing those cab bushings were by far the easiest "fix" I have done on this truck. I went with rubber- It's a street truck, my thinking -why go poly if it will never touch dirt... In your case and you offroad- maybe you should consider poly.
