Window Regulators

Who makes the best repop window regulators? I have some from Classic Parts I installed and the driver's side one has given up the ghost after a couple of years. PITA.

Re: Window Regulators

Maybe just get a decent used OE. Get one from Northern Canada, probably never been used unless the driver pulled over by the RCMP.

LOL. I was thinking about that, but I reckon any around here are pretty trashed. Might have to find a Canadian one.

Thanks for the lead. Any idea on the GM part number for a driver's side regulator for a '69?

Re: Window Regulators

Brothers sells a gear replacement kit for about $20, so you can rebuild your old OEM regulator.

Brothers p/n:WRK7100 "Regulator Repair Gear". Page 64, Brothers catalog Vol.10, No.5.April 2010. ...$19.99 each. Works Left or Right.
The whole regulator assembly is specific to one side or the other. They are mirror images of each other.
