Hey I have a 69 chevy half ton, with out a/c, however the rivets that hold the face plate to the switch houseing came loose. Does anyone have a quick fix or know where I can get one? I already tryed JB weld but that didnt work at all.

Re: Wheezy's lil red truck.
Some of the vendors on the board should have rebuild kits for the heater controls. These include a new overlay that covers the repair that LockDoc described. These kits are well worth the money. They also have in them; New steel levers, and a new switch. I rebuilt mine several years ago, and it still looks and works great.

Re: Wheezy's lil red truck.
I repaired mine buy drilling & tapping the back side were the levers are mounted,i think i drill the mounts a little deeper to tap the four mounts with a 2-56 or 6-32 tap,it's been a few years since i repaired it,used blue loctite on the screws & flat washers on the screws, still working good
