ok im just about ready to put all my suspension together but i still need fittings an airline. ihave 8 1/2 smc valves two viair 480c comp firestone bags 1/2" ports. bags are in but thats about it. anybody see anything else i may need except a air tank. any help would be appretiated this is the first time i have done air so not sure what all i need. also i have 4 three position toggle switches i was going to run to control everything

A drain fitting for the tank and an inline filter/water separator would be nice, I wish I had done those... I also wired a switch so I could manually turn off the compressor if the pressure switch fails or I need to shut down the compressor for any reason, i.e. drain the tank....

Oh and gauges??

If you have 1/2 all the way through, you might want some type of flow control...I hear it's awfully fast.

Yeah on my old truck I put fittings in my 1/2" valves that reduced to slow them down.
It was awful hard to adjust by just a few PSI at a time.

More good points... if you run a water trap before the tank you'll be amazed how much moisture you catch & yes a master power shut off to the air ride is nice too.

I know Fastenal carries "push-to-connect" brass fittings.
Just make sure you get DOT approved fittings,... and use some Loctite 545
Hydraulic thread sealer.

You will pay more, but do yourself a favor and buy name-brand fittings ... Parker or Swagelok preferably. You will thank yourself later when you are chasing leaks on the less expensive ones.

I purchased all of mine from my local Parker store but not sure if there is one located near you.

I too got mine at the local Parker store...a little spendy, but it was nice to be able to get them all minus shipping and right away.
