my first build 86 swb "FRANKENSTEIN" pic heavy
Bought this truck roughly two years ago and it's been an ongoing project ever since.
Started off as an 81 swb. Ac/heat, power everything. Cab was rusted badly and huge dent in the bed so after a couple months I bought an 86 donor. Here's the day I brought her home ![]() Part donor ![]() Swapping cabs and beds ![]() ![]() ![]() Original motor took a crap, then a crate motor I bought burnt up so I built my own motor ![]() Then I bought two more beds and pieced together a decent bed worthy of something ![]() ![]() ![]() Bed post holes welded up and body work taking place for some primer this was before ![]() this is after some hard work ![]() ![]() ![]() That's all I have from then until now. Both rocker panels will be replaced as well as driver side cab corner. I call my truck Frankenstein right now because it has so Many parts from various years. |
