Guys we picked up a 78' K5 for my brother in law and it didn't have a console in it. I found a the correct cup holder console in a salvage yard, but it is missing the chrome trim ring for the edge of the console. If anyone has a lead on one, please let me know. It doesn't have to be the greatest, but one in usuable shape would be fine. Trevor

Trevor, I have a parts console i picked up a couple of days ago, I think the trim ring is ok, but I will have to check it to make sure. If you want I will photo it tomorrow and send some pics if interested. It also has a good emblem if you need it. I think the console is from a 73 but has belt holders. I will check and let you know. I know I have a set of used console trim in good condition...I just got to find it.

Do you guys know if any repop are available? I know Frank(pickmup) has the cup holders repoped, but not the trim.

I know we have at least one parts console that has one. If everybody can't find theirs I will get a pic for you. I have to catch a train in the AM but I will be back on Monday to get a pic ( if I can find mine too).

Hey guys, rebuilding a cup holder center console for my 74 and was wondering, does anyone repop the badges? I finally found a console at a pick-n-pull but it has a bowtie and I've got a gmc. I hate to jack the thread but was just curious. Thanks!

I just found the Console Trim and it also has the screws plus a the bowtie emblem. As mentioned...it's yours for free. Or...maybe trade for a set of 8 Track brackets.

Anyway,,,I'm leaving early tomorrow for Detroit and then on up to Canada and won't get home till Friday. PM me your address and I'll try and get it out to you this week end or early next week. Sorry it took so long but I had to dig through a lot of boxes to find it.
