3D - 87 SWB Concept
This is what i want to do to my 87, all the body work is already there, just need paint. I borrowed the 3D model truck from sketch-up, modeled the wheels in autocad, then rendered it in blender 3d ( sketchup and blender are free programs btw ) give me some feedback please, also... its got a 305 as of righ now, should i run with a 350 vortec or the newer gen? its got a 700R and will be a daily driver. Thanks for looking, Clif |

Re: 3D - 87 SWB Concept
Here is the real deal as of right now... she's about to head over to the body shop and get a final make-over and prime. I'm probably going to get rid of the cowl hood and tonneau cover, any idea what i should ask for $$ on those items, they are in top notch like-new condition.
thanks, Clif ![]() |

Re: 3D - 87 SWB Concept
I have been using sketchup like you for a long time now, and have recently thought about using it for concept ideas for my truck. There is way to get better bodylines on this program, just let me know if you are interested and I can show you. I thought about using this program to help people make decisions on what to do with their trucks, but didn't think I would have enough time.
