Delete Plate "Reproduction"
Could one of you who has a factory firewall delete plate for the heater post an outline of it along with screw hole locations. I have a tool & die make that will help us get it repoped for those who would like one. The one on the web is not close to original in looks. my opinion only...thanks...

Re: Delete Plate "Reproduction"
What would everyone be willing to pay if a reproduction delete plate was fabricated and sold here?
$100 each? $200 each? How much REAL demand is there? What would they be worth to you to have a "bolt-on" delete plate, that looks like the originals?

Re: Delete Plate "Reproduction"
Not enough demand to pay for tooling! I can answer that.

Re: Delete Plate "Reproduction"
What about a bead rolled copy?
Not a stamped version.

Re: Delete Plate "Reproduction"
That would be your best bet if you can find someone to do them.

Re: Delete Plate "Reproduction"
for the few who what one, having it look original is important ! I can't believe some one who has an original one won't post the outline of it ? I know of a shop in Detroit that can duplicate it......

The bolt pattern is the same as a non-A/C heater box.
