71 Center link question.
Guys quick question.
I have a 68 SWB and almost done with the disc conversion. When I put in the caliper and all those parts, I also have to change the inner and outer tie rod, tie rod sleve and center link ? I could find all the parts exept for the center link so wanted to double check. |

Re: 71 Center link question.
I was thinking, does a company sell a modified Tie rod sleeve ? Which will allow me to use my 68' Drag link and inner tie rod , and use the 71 outer tie rod ? Since the 68/71 tie rods are different size ?

Re: 71 Center link question.
Just checked with CPP and they said I can use 73-87 tie rods so I dont have to change my drag link ? Is that even possible ?

Re: 71 Center link question.
I think I would stick with a 71/72 centerlink if I were you...so when you have to replace these in the future you don't have to try and remember what you did

Re: 71 Center link question.
71-72 centerlinks aren't available new,... So you will have to find a used one.
Just curious,... Did you piece together your disc conversion or buy a kit? The aftermarket now makes bolt-on direct fit spindles so you don't have to change all your steering components. Posted via Mobile Device
