Rear Disk Brake Conversion -Dually-

Whos done a disc brake swap on an 87 1 ton dually with a C&C rearend? I am looking for someone that is actually using a conversion to give feedback. I saw one kit that had dual pistions... that would be perfect!

Thanks in advance, Eric

Be aware , I looked into doing this conversion, but I think you loose your parking brake. Since my truck has a 4 speed, I didn't like the idea.

I guess I should have said that I need to keep the e-brake. I don't want to be winching on the parkpaw alone...

Not sure about a c&c rear-end, but when I did my Dana 70 dually disc conversion, I had the option of putting 1978 Cadillac calipers on my brakes and keep the e-brake. As far as brackets, can't say I have seen those for a cab and chassis.

Looked around real quick and these are what I found. I have dealt with Kert at www.DIY4x.com and cant say enough about his level of quality and customer service. Check into it a little more, but I am pretty sure the Caddy calipers will work and allow you to maintain an e-brake.
