72 front turn signal
I'm having a little bit of a problem. I'm looking to get the 72 inspected and licensed soon but the front right turn signal is driving me nuts! The driving light will work but the turn signal doesn't. If I turn the bulb around (1157) the turn signal works but the bulb won't seat and lock because of the tits. I'm getting pulsing power (turn signal) to the socket when checked with a test light. I thought maybe the insides of the socket got turned around somehow so I switched the wires. Now the turn signal works but the driving light doesn't. I've tried two different bulbs so I know it wasn't my bulb. Any suggestions?

Re: 72 front turn signal
I think the power from the wire actually goes through a spring to the lead spot in the bottom of the socket, It's been a while, but i think i pulled the bottom out and repaired a spring somehow...bad memory and a long time ago...it's easier just to get another socket now...
