Yesterday I found a amazing truck at the auto swapmeet in Turlock Ca., A 66' short fleet, big window, tinted glass, protecto plate, running work of art! other than "all" the molding having dings

the truck's in great shape with no major rust issues either (yes!

) The power plant is a 292/ grannie 4 speed with 308' read end, that made the 40 mile ride home fun while listening to the original AM radio that had been converted to AM/FM ... What is really cool is that this truck was originally special ordered by the Winton Napa Auto parts store not 5 minutes from my house as indicated by the protecto plate.... more photo's will be following soon, enjoy.

Okay! are you guys ready for this? the guy who sold me the truck (nice, clean cut 40ish guy) said there's a guy in southern Ca. "I think he's Mexican" who builds these trucks "his name is Delmo" I said Delmo??!!! that's my boy!!!

My plans so far is the easy stuff including..... a good cleaning, new lens and pedals, upholstery, chrome bumpers, a 3/5 drop and some baby moons or polished slot mags that I already have it stock, aaand maybe (don't hate me) I might switch out the grill to a 63' grill, which has always been my favorite early 60's grill, then later down the road a automatic trans with a tilt column from "Kev's Classic's".
