I have a 67 3/4 ton
![]() I have a 96 vortec 454 and a nv4500 from the 96 truck i plan to put in this 67 while doing a 3/4 ton 4x4 conversion. And changing it from being a automatic to a manual. The 454 should mount in there fine and i plan to incorporate the computer and the fuel injection. I have to figure out the nv4500 and 205 situation, though i currently plan to buy the Advanced Adapters nv4500 retrofit kit. I have almost all the OEM components gathered to do this, the manual steering column, clutch pedal assembly, floor pan (i have to cut mine out), disc brake 3/4ton brake setup, and the 4x4 350 fan shroud. I have done a 4x4 and manual conversion before but not the 454 or nv4500. If you've done this, please feel free to give me advice. I'll put up pictures sometime. |
