Anyone want to make $1000?
Ok, so I know this is a strange offer, but hear me out (actually, I'm not even sure if forum rules allow this, so if not, I apologize wholeheartedly)...
My dad's '86 K10 has been sitting (rear main oil seal went as did 1st and 2nd on the tranny) for 4 years. I want to get it back on the road for him, and in the past month I've secured a 28,000 mile 305 and a rebuilt and upgraded 700r4 for the project, as well as new inner fenders cuz they were totally rotted out, too. Problem is, I've run out of time and tools to put in everything in the truck. So basically, what I'm asking is this: would somebody in the 100 mile radius of Frederick, MD, like to make $1000 by putting in the motor, transmission, and inner fenders into Dad's K10 so that I can get it on the road by November 15? I'd do it but I'm in a (rare) busy spot through that time. My friend does great work and I'll let him know. He has a trailer and would come and get it,no problem.
