I think that it is a great idea. I couldn't tell you the lift, but I have installed R/V cams in several 4x4s with edelbrock preformer high rises and 650 carbs and had exelent results. They are not drag racers, but do great for play time in the mud!! They also seem to do better in gas milage also.

Sure I have done it to both my blazers with great results. Bowtie Performance in Bristol Tenn Has a cam for 4x4 and lifters for $ 85.00 can't touch that Price
