Vacuum lines for Dual Sync Distributor?
I've got a 1970 C10 with a 383 stroker, 650 cfm carb, and HEI distributor. I want to put in a 700r4 transmission and convert to fuel injection. From what I've read, I'll need a dual sync distributor for the Holley Sniper EFI system.
Currently on my distributor, the vacuum lines run from the manifold to the distributor and the transmission. The dual sync distributor doesn't have the vacuum port. Where do I attach the vacuum lines to actuate the transmission if I convert over to an EFI system? |

Re: Vacuum lines for Dual Sync Distributor?
It doesn’t.
No vacuum needed for the trans or the distributor. |

How does the transmission shift gears if not by the vacuum? Just for my own knowledge. |

Re: Vacuum lines for Dual Sync Distributor?
Cable from the trans to the carb or fi unit. Pressure controller.
Critical angle hook up at the carb to make your trans live long. Check here for info. https://www.bowtieoverdrives.com/ The fi set up should have brackets and info for hook up. |
