Question about my just purchased '68 C10
I have a cab sagging dilema. After lots of measuring, I found that the cab support on the drivers rear has dropped about an inch, leaving the cab really close to the box on that side. A previous attempt at cab corner replacement omitted the rear corner filler panels on both sides that close the cab from the road. Long story short, is there a good temporary fix, like shimming that corner, that would be ok until those fillers were put back? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure what you mean by "filler panels"? Perhaps a picture or two would help to see what the problem is.

Re: Question about my just purchased '68 C10
This is the cab floor piece for the back corner. Are you missing rear cab support piece that goes under the floor at this point? That would be item 16 on the diagram. If the cab is sagging in the back, the cab mount bushings may be shot. As long as the cab support brace is OK, and the Cab mounting bracket on the chassis is OK, you should be able to replace the cab mount bushing without too much trouble. You can search on the forum for "replace cab mount bushing without removing cab"

I'm betting it's the cab mount bushings too. They are going to be shot after 40 plus years.

Re: Question about my just purchased '68 C10
If the cab support bushing is OK, then it's hard to imagine how the cab could sag an inch without major structural damage to the cab support bracing or the chassis. Maybe you could take picture under the drivers side mount and post it up?
If there's no structural damage, and the bushing is OK, you can shim up the bushing as needed on that side to level the cab out.
