Re: Help Heater Switsh Mod?
A single pole, double throw switch should work...Or is that a double pole, double throw?

Re: Help Heater Switsh Mod?
So would I have to put some kind of resistor inbetween one of the poles to slow the fan down?

Re: Help Heater Switsh Mod?
either will work if you have a double pole double throw then you would only use one side or if you used both sides (with jumpers from one side to the other)it would last longer

Re: Help Heater Switsh Mod?
make sure its rated for the current, a cheap toggle switch will catch fire before the fuse blows.
find the fuse rating on the blower at high speed and use that to find a switch. chances are the right rating toggle switch will cost a few bucks more than the cheapest.

Re: Help Heater Switsh Mod?
Here is a switch that is OFF ON ON instead of ON OFF ON. Even calls it a heater switch. Its $11 plus s/h. http://www.elecdirect.com/product/17...31931135d.aspx

Re: Help Heater Switsh Mod?
Way to go Clemson! I'll have to have my buddy get one for his heater, he lost the switch. I noticed that is a Cole Hersee switch, which are available at "good" auto parts stores.
