How about some Binocular photos and talk about them
I won a $100 from a forum I belong to and it was to be spent at a gun shop & pawn . So I bought this brand new pair along with $200 ,,I think I got a good deal too.
They are 10x43 and what I see through them is real clear ..man,, some of these glasses are expensive .. I am afraid to spend that much for reasons of family will be looking through these also and its to big a risk .. I am using these for just looking up on the hill sides of the Snake river for deer and bear and wolves and maybe a (big foot).. lol How about you guys ,,what do you have and whats your expertise on binoculars and what your thoughts on what glasses are best for what..

Re: How about some Binocular photos and talk about them
I never thought that really good optics were worth the price UNTIL I got a pair of Swarovski compact binoculars a few years ago. The list price on them was around $800.00 but I found a pair that had been returned to Cabelas (in the bargain cave in Sidney Nebraska) for $300 bucks! I couldn't pass them up for that price. I guess the original buyer must have had buyers remorse....I kind of felt bad for spending $300 bucks on them until I took them out on a hunting trip....they performed flawlessly. I'm glad I bought them.

Cannon 15X50 w/ image stabilizer , very nice and very expensive (gift) . I had/have an older pair of Cannon binocular's and they don't compare . I gave my Grandson the old ones.

Re: How about some Binocular photos and talk about them
on another note, they are very heavy and I don't think they'd be practical for hunt'n . roughly 2.5 to 3 pounds.
