I am planning on installing an lq9/4l80e in a static dropped 80 sierra 4x2. So far I have everything but the headers, ls swap mounts and oil pan(truck is very low). I plan on using my existing low mount ac compressor with custom made lines so they clear the frame(cheaper than spending $$$ for a high mount bracket). I will be using a floor mount American shifter dual action 23" so shift linkage is not a concern. I need to know what headers and ls mounts work together without frame or a/c comp bracket or engine mount modifications. I have spent countless hours searching and cant seem to find any answers. Does anyone know what long tube headers and swap mounts work without having to cut up the frame ? I am open to other options as well, such as mid tubes instead of Lt's.

Re: Lq9/4l80e swap hardware compatability questions.
This is a good question for the LS swap section. Maybe a Moderator can help move this thread to that section.
