so my old 250 engine started knocking time to get it out!
i need a 292 inline sadly cant find on in my area any body have a lead to where i can score one up for cheap?

How about a in line 6 out of 06 trailblazer at 291hp. The earlier versions were less hp.

A 292 isn't a direct bolt in replacement. The passenger side frame mount is different. A 292 flywheel has larger crankshaft bolts. Most 292 have a three bolt exhaust flange. You radiator might not properly cool a larger 292 engine. Unless you really need the extra pulling power I would go back with another 250engine.

Actually I had been wanting a 292 for a good while now im willing to make the new mods to make the 292 work!

Heck yer in California...there's tons of them down there alone. The 292 has a bigger flywheel, clutch, different motor mounts, and bigger radiator.
