67 C10 with 69 327
My 67 came without an engine, previous owner had sold SBC that was in it. I have a 69 327 long block I am putting in it. Should I order the accessory items, brackets, alternator, water pump, hoses etc for a 67 or 69. I know in some cases they are the same but some show to be different between the years.
My first restore and don't want to waste time and money ordereing and returning for fit. |

Re: 67 C10 with 69 327
It's been a few years since I've been to Plain Dealing.
![]() It's going to depend on your cylinder heads. ~1969 and newer cylinder heads allow long water pumps with matching pulleys and brackets as well as earlier short water pumps with matching pulley and brackets. Older cylinder heads really can only use the short water pump setup

It has the newer heads with the accessory mounting holes on the end of the head.
