New wood floors

Actually it's engineered wood. It came out nice. Brother Bill was a big help. My wife is so happy!

Re: New wood floors

Breaking in my new saw. It's great living out here. Not missing town one bit. We can't get an Internet provider out here. Mostly because we don't have tv. ATT told us they can get service to us by 2035. I can wait.😄

Yes. That's a 416ce. My wife bought it for me last summer. She made me that quilt that the Spanish guitar is leaning on. She has made a couple of really nice quilts. She is awesome!

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Re: New wood floors

Nice! What kind of wood is that? When I saw the first picture I was thinking Tigerwood (not the golfer).
Do you not want TV? I ask cuz I figure you probably know you can get internet via satellite

Glad you are liking your new diggs.

Thats pretty funny. I'm not sure of the wood other than its engineered. I got rid of my tv about 6 years ago. We have 3 dishes. 2 on the house and one in the yard. Eventually they will be gone. The kids have a tv in their room to watch videos, movies.

I can relate to that. I never had TV when I left home till I met my wife, now my x, who kept it on. I missed all those '70s shows people talk about (unless I was visiting someone). Never watched it at home once I was a teen. I could take it or leave it and now that she's gone I watch the morning news to catch the weather and occasionally watch something in the evening. I only keep it for my son and since it's there I sometimes watch something. but I couldn't tell you what comes on when. I could do just fine w/o.

I was just at a builders show yesterday and was looking into Tigerwood for exterior applications. But who knows. Looks good. I just hope they don't cut down all the engineered trees for flooring

Re: New wood floors

I gotta say I'm very impressed. Especially with the carpet inset. You could teach Leon a thing or two. How was it done? Carpet first or what?
