Cool Some body was

This is sitting on the side of the road in Pickens SC on Hwy 183 just west of town. I stopped today and took some pictures of it. Somebody a while back was posting about one I think.
It looks like it's for sale but couldn't find anything in the windows. Looks to be in good shape to. I like it!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Barth was once the Cadillac of motor homes. Someone added the Chevy Emblem. They have a strong following. I wonder how much?

These are very cool. I couldn't imagine trying to keep fuel in one though.

I was on my way to work so didn't have much time, just enough to snap the quick phone photo's. I'll try and go by this weekend while off and see if I can findout any info on it. Price wise.

Re: Some body was

Looking again, I think I was wrong on the emblem. I thought about the Barths I've looked at and some years had a Chevy grille like the C/40-60s of the 67-72 era. I think it's just later. But I have seen this grille with no bowtie

I wouldn't mind owning one...wonder what kind of condition the interior is in.

Re: Some body was

I am geeking out on the entire Barth thing for sure. But, that party on Barth thing went straight over my head. I don't even know what that is about? I'm out from under my rock, so time for me to catch up before I retreat. Wussup wit dat? A movie I never saw? I like to (need to) laugh, my ears are open < Hurry before offer expires

Here ya go, couldn't help myself. These pictures may get someone down there worked up on these enough to go get'er. This geek got some pictures. The last one is from a Chevy rec vehicle brochure ('70).
Dad: "What say we grab the kids, hop in the RV, take it down by the lake, and stand next to it a while?
Mom: "Ok, but I'm not getting out

Re: Some body was

My grandfather had one of those 1938 Internationals that I (and my Dad) inherited when he passed.
Top speed was 34 MPH. With the ultra low gearing, 3 speed manual and that flat top inline 6, it would pull huge amount of weight without a struggle. We took huge loads of firewood out of the Maine woods with that truck.
6V positive ground electrical system was a bit strange to work on, and it wouldn't always start in the really cold weather up there, but was still a great truck.
