I need help with GMC 79 electric system
Hello everybody
I have two GMC trucks (1979 and 1990) and I took the engine and the transmission system from the 1990 GMC and but it in my GMC 1979 and I was able to run my GMC 1979 with no problems  . However I want to plug my gauges such as fuel & speedometer for my GMC 1979 but I don't know the electrical connection diagrams will be  Please I want to know how to connect the electrical system  Many thanks Last edited by chavy; 07-24-2015 at 08:46 AM. |

If you haven't changed wiring harnesses the plug ins should be the same. You will just have to match the gauge wiring with the sensor wiring, temperature oil pressure, etc. You may need to acquire a wiring diagram for each vehicle to match the gauges and the sensors.
