Painted rear bumper for 50 truck
I have been looking everywhere for a painted rear bump. Every place I look and see chrome or it painted black but has smoothed out bolts. I am looking for one to paint the has the bumper bolts that go through the bumper. Does anyone know where I can get them .would sandblasting or sanding the chrome allow the paint to stick. I'm affriad the paint will flake off.

Re: Painted rear bumper for 50 truck
If you take the chrome off, you'll have a perfectly good bumper to paint. Blasting or sanding works fine. Just get down to clean, bare steel then epoxy prime immediatly to prevent corrosion and you're good to go.
