R4 compressor

I have an 83 GMC with A/C that will actually work fine for awhile when I charge it, but has a leak in the factory R4 compressor.

I'm guessing putting seals in one of these isn't easy, so thought I might just get a new compressor.

Rockauto has everything from a $113 closeout "Vista Pro" to a $202 AC Delco.

I'm guessing new would be safer than rebuilt, and where all should I replace O rings in the system before I recharge it?
