Welcome
Thanks for the add New to all of this, but I am trying to restore my dad's old chevy c10. Little confused my dad say it is a 1969 400 Sb and the badge on the side says (custom/1.0, 8-400) but everything I read about this is chevy did not make the 400 until 1970, it have a 3 speed on the collar. Any help to figure this out would be appreciated. Also is there any place I can get like a parts break down for this trucks.

Re: Welcome
Sounds like you have a shortbed big block c10. Vera cool! The 400 badge is correct although it could have been a 396 or 402 (I forget which in 1970).
There should be a service parts sticker in the glove box with the options. Post a pic and we can help sort through it. Pictures would be awesome!

Re: Welcome
Thank You for the quick response, I will get my dad to send me a pic of it so I can post it, but it is a longbed.
