Been raining all day here so I decided to adjust the windows on the 64 SS Impala again to see if I could get them any better. I'm glad I did because they look much better than before.
I installed all new weather strips on both sides of the car. Man I hope it helps with the heat/AC. The gaps all look good and I can't find any air gaps at all. It's sitting out in the rain as we speak to check it for leaks. My son is coming over to change his oil also so I needed a garage space! I had to drill a new hole for the screw by the vent window so it would tilt more toward the rear of the car but other than that it's all good. ![]()

Re: Window gaps!
Shouldn't need to drill any new holes , Looks like that rear window needs to be readjusted .just a real pain to remove the seats and side panels to get to it all .

The vent windows didn't have the screws I'm talking about installed until I started messing with it. I tried it where they went but it didn't have enough angle toward the back and the top of the vent would hit and not shut the door good. I took the screw back out and it shut fine so I just redrilled it and they shut good and seal good.
There was no water on the inside after it rained and I took the hose and sprayed it down to. I'm happy with it it's been 2 long weeks of installing all of it and adjusting it. It should be nice driving without all the wind noise I hope now! ![]()
