72 throttle kick down

I am finally putting the wire harness back in but was hoping to put new one end but will have to wait tell next year for that. So I was going over old harness from tranny the wires are orange and black as it goes up the front of fire wall before it goes inside cab it splits off the black connects to a connector that seems to go to ac which does not seem right to me. The orange goes into cab. Does that sound right to you
