IN WTB Locking Hub Spring Retainer - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Both locking hubs on the 72 Blazer that I am working on are missing the spring retainer plate. Part number 14 on the attached diagram. I can't find a retail source to purchase from, hoping someone with some parted Dana 44 front axles or extra lockout parts can help me.

Without the spring plate it seems to me the spring will extend over the axle nuts and rest against the back of the outer bearing. Not sure what kind of issue this could cause?

Thanks for the info. Found 3 or 4 sites selling these on EBay. Purchased a pair.
