lowering advice, tips, packages for my 70 c10
I'm looking to lower my 1970 c10. I'd like to just use drop springs for now. How low can/should I go with just doing drop springs. Would love to hear what packages you guys suggest and any pics of what my ride height will coming out looking like. Thank you

This truck has 2 inch dropped spindles and 1" springs in the front with 5" dropped springs, shock relocators and adjustable panhard bar in the rear. It rides great.
I you try to do 3" in the front with springs, you will sacrifice ride quality.

Mos def get shock relocation brackets. You don't want your rear shocks laying at a 35-40 degree angle, but much closer to 90 degrees. Maybe a panhard bar relocation too. Get the No-Limit stuff.

The ones I posted above do not require removal of rivets. They do require a cobalt bit to drill through the frame. I highly recommend new ubolts too.

Re: lowering advice, tips, packages for my 70 c10
I have a set of 2 1/2 inch drop spindles and 4 inch rear drop springs with an adjustable panhard bar and rear shock relocators ready to go on my truck in Spring. Just put the 255/60 17 TT2's on in August and just want the slighty lowered look for the truck. The 17's andtires are only .18 inches higher than the 235/75 15's that have been on my truck since I bought it.

Truck looks good. What size tires you running? OP the 3 front, 5 rear is pretty standard with minimal changes. If you want just springs I have seen some spring kits that are 2" front and 4" rear. |

This is the same way I went before going with coil overs. Some need a C Notch some not. The adjustable pan hard is a must also

Re: lowering advice, tips, packages for my 70 c10
I did a 2.5" front cut spring (1 ring) on the front and Jeep TJ springs in the back for 4 " of drop . Search on this forum and you can find the home made shock relocators for front and back not hard to fab. My truck rides like a dream and will haul a decent load allso but I dont use it for that a cruiser street brawler mostly.
