65 GMC Turn signal identification
I have the switch shown in the attached picture, in my 65 GMC. I need to replace the metal strips shown in the lower right portion.
I am not sure of the type of switch. Is it truly a GMC switch, or is it a Chevrolet (1963?) type switch. I have bent one of the metal strips, and it seems I have to replace the whole switch, I just don’t know what to order. Thanks in advance. Ken Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 65 GMC Turn signal identification
Maybe it's different on GMC I do not know for sure but here is a switch that says it's for both Chevy and GMC - https://www.rockauto.com/en/parts/ac...al+switch,4832

It seems that what I have in my GMC, could be a Chevy part. Not that I am biased, I just want confirmation. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 65 GMC Turn signal identification
65 GMC typically uses 1963 Chevy switch.
I hope that helps. Regards Steve New Orleans |

Re: 65 GMC Turn signal identification
I was able to buy the missing component from a local 60-66 fan. Thanks Eric!
