TMI Sport pro seats - anyone ever use them?
Hey all,
I'm looking to replace the bench seat in my new-to-me 72 C10. I'm 6'1", and about 220lbs. I'm finding I'd like a bit more room in the cab. The steering column is already shortened, and I'm going to lower the brake pedal a bit. My bench seat is very thick, and not very supportive. It doesn't recline and is more upright than I'd like. I've been doing a lot of research on these forums and see people have used a variety of seats. I came across the TMI seats, and really like how they look. Rather than finding a donor seat and having it redone, I thought these might be a good fit, but was wondering if anyone here had experience with them. I'm looking at running something like this, as eventually I'd like to do a greyish blue exterior on this pickup. https://www.tmiproducts.com/trucks/c...air-25905.html Thanks all! |

Bump on this. I have looked at them as well and was wondering how they fit. I spoke to their sales in So Cal and they have a couple of seats you can try out in their display lobby in the front of their store. They also are going to be going to a few shows around the country this spring. You might call them up and find out where they will be.

Anyone else ever use these seats? Really considering pulling the trigger in a set. May have to be the forum guinea pig haha

Thanks for the replies! Seems like the consensus is they're good seats, but a few people don't like how the centers attach. Might have to consider doing the buckets with individual brackets, and then fabbing up a custom center console, or retrofitting something else in. I too don't like the idea of a single velcro strap holding the center in.

Re: TMI Sport pro seat bracket too low!
Update on old thread. I’ve had TMI buckets for about a year. The seats are great but the TMI seat bracket is TOO LOW! Leg room is gone and I’m only 5’ 11”. I’m going to have to mod the bracket to get it back closer to stock height. My 55 yr old knee (clutch side) is sore for two days after a ride around town!
