Are Shock Extenders needed since axle is closer to the frame ???
*Ordered some, not even sure they are right, and may not need. Trying to button up all the parts so I can 6/8 this thing real soon.

Re: Flip Kit Question - 88 C3500
Correct, even with shorter shocks I still needed the extenders after the axle flip.

Re: Flip Kit Question - 88 C3500
You'll want the lower shock extenders as well as upper shock relocators.
Weird GM design thing.... the driver side shock dimensions @ the frame vs the rear end are different vs the pass side (about a 4" difference). On my 3/4 ton (HD/8-lug), I used the lower extensions, modded the pass side upper placement (to be closer to the driver side dimensions), & got the Bell Tech upper relocation brackets. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=817106 The flip yields an easy 8" of drop. I added lift shackles to dial in a 5/7 drop so it's still useable.
