Hazard light switch
There was a question the other day about the hazard switch being difficult to cancel, but I'm having a hard time posting in that thread for some reason. It seems like most people cancel the switch by pulling it straight out, but I always felt like it had a lot of resistance. While replacing the turn signal switch and trying to use the original hazard button in the new switch (unsuccessfully) I found that pushing it back seemed to give a better result.
Is this common knowledge already, or am I wrong and likely to snap my button off? https://youtu.be/Plt-pbVJaxE |

Re: Hazard light switch
Mine is very difficult to push in or pull out, but I never use it normally.

Re: Hazard light switch
to me, this has to rate as one of the most bizarre posts! I've owned three of these trucks and never had any form of issue or understanding how to turn on/off the hazards - simply push in, or pull out. that video is wacky - to push forward, WT*! LOL

Re: Hazard light switch
Both my '67 C50 and '72 C30 are tough to pull out after being turned on, I figured that was a part of aging with these old trucks.

Re: Hazard light switch
This is the button from the turn signal switch I replaced, and I feel like the geometry of this little tab supports my theory.
