Howdy from God's country

Rick here.

Looking to find out what has changed in the industry since I last restored my truck (1994).

I'm ready to do a frame off soon, right now I'm workin on another project which should be done by the end of next month. Then my 1968 4x4 is goin in the shop and comin apart.

I have a few questions but will execute a thorough search before wasting anyone's time.

I am an active member on three other forums, so I know the deal

Here's a coupla shots of my truck the way it looked in 94:

Thanks in advance for any help I may receive.

Welcome from Central Mississippi. Pretty sweet looking ride you got there. I must admit...you found the best place on the net for these trucks. Thousands of folks here to help you out with every detail.

Thanks for the welcomes guys!

She still runs like a raped ape, and you can set a cup of coffee on the aircleaner while it idles and hardly get a ripple.

But the paint is hammered and the suspension is toast. It has been my daily driver for a long time now and it's time to do a restoration.

I hope that this board can be a great resource for me.
