Went back original....

I was having problems with my HEI distributor, so I decided to put the original points and condensor distributor back in. Got a good deal on a new unit, 42 for the distributor, 3 bucks for the rotor, and 5 bucks for the cap. Got some new wires as well. Put it together, and realized that I didnt have a coil. So I robbed the mopar coil off of my parts mercedes benz (dont ask... please) hooked that up, and wired directly to the battery. I think I am 180 out on the distributor tho, it acts exactly like it did when I first got it. So, I am going to turn it around tomorrow morning sometime and see what happens.

I also have the spare HEI distributor, which I no longer need. All I got out of her tonight was a big BOOM! So I know that I have spark.

Anyways, I'll update as I make progress.
