Thumbs up Washington Meet at Monroe swap meet

Monroe swap meet is this Sat. & Sun. Oct. 12 & 13.
How about a meeting of the NW board members at the South end of the Grand Stands on Sat. about 2 pm?
Open to suggestions.

BBQ in the back of Stllookn's pickup. LOL!!!

Swap meet in Monroe

I'd love too, but myself and JD72 are going to Augusta to a motorcycle show and swap meet to coat parts.

I've been planning on this since the spring and now it is looking worse than ever! I have my daughter's soccer practice and fund raiser on Saturday and her soccer game on Sunday. Orence1 and I were thinking Sunday might be good day for us. I don't think I need anything right now...'cept maybe those ralley's and tires. Heck, I've got a running truck, parts truck and sheet metal to fix them all! I need a day in the shop to work on my truck...that's what I really need!

Another rust free passenger side inner fender would not hurt or another rust free core support! Hey, how many spares does a guy really need?

I've never been to that swapmeet, is there quite a bit of stuff for our trucks there? I don't have a lot of things I'd be looking for, but there are a few things I need.

It is a great one but I would say the usual amount of truck sheet metal and parts. I always seem to find something that I need. Truck Shop will not be there this time but there should be others. There are usually some nice trucks to see in the parking lot as well.

I'd love to go but I've got to finish remodeling the front entry and then get the baby room done so when she arrives, she'll have someplace to sleep.

My truck's front-end JUST got together last weekend. I have yet to replace the rear bushings, and reseal the transmission. Busy, busy busy.

Have fun guys.

That front end looks very nice...it has too many studs on the drum for my tastes however...LOL! Are you going to paint the drums too or just let them be? I took mine down to sandblast and paint at my friends shop but got side-tracked. Got the battery box done though.

Don't know yet. I'm thinking about leaving them, because I want to convert later, but it may be worth my while to brush and paint them....

I'll think about that one.

My good fortune at last! All the truck parts to myself. Sorry you guys are going to miss out.

And Cobalt the front end looks great. And you do have just the right amount of studs. Stllookn just has stud envy!

Yeah, he kinda looks like the sort of dude that should be registered to live in the neighborhood, if you know what I mean.

Just kidding.

Well I WAS going to go to the swap meet at Monroe today. My dad was driving up from Longview and we were going to go and spend the day looking at parts and stuff. I dont really need anything but it was going to be a day with dad looking at car stuff which I dont get as often as I like. But his POS '97 Ford/Mazda 4x4 piece of crap broke down on the way up here with a blown clutch or tranny so I guess we won't be heading over .... I HATE FORDS !!!!

I got free tickets to the Husky Arizona game...with ice cold Alaskan Amber, barbequed brats and all the fixings...I had to go! I didn't really need any parts either but it is always fun to go and look. I had the barbeque in the back of the Tahoe...not my truck! Really sorry to have missed oldiron...I have some part for him.

Well I had a great time. Meet up with chevy71super who was selling some of his spare parts. I did end up snagging a couple of front turn signal lens for a couple of dollars from him. Found some more diecast for my ever growing collection. A couple more signs for wall art in the shop. And I think I found a buyer for my 47 F$$d COE!
All in all it was a good day.
Sorry you guys missed out.
