Idea For Metal Bed

I have spent numerous hours enjoying this site and researching various post. On or 69 GMC we thought about a bedwood conversion, but in searching post I saw a picture that someone took at a car show (I think in Arizona) of a truck with a metal bed made to look like a wooden bed- it looked like they had put chrome strips between the ridges in the bed to make the surface flush. To me this was way cool and I am thinking about doing it, if feasible.

Will the metal strips from a wooden bed work to do this or would you need to get metal strips cut fit fit the width and depth to get the flush look? I have looked for 2 days and cannot find that picture again, nor can I find any searching the internet. I would be very interested in finding this picture and any information concerning doing this project to a metal bed. The bed we have is good and straight with very little rust, just spray on lining which can go away.

Any help on locating this picture and/or ideas on doing this?
