Engine mounts

So, I have a 1979 stepside with a 250. I am replacing the 250 with another one which came out of a 1969. I noticed that the 69 motor mounts and frame rail mounts are different from the 79 mounts. My question is, can I use the mounts from the 79 and swap it onto the 69 motor or will I have to replace the frame rail mounts on the truck to use the 69 mounts? Thanks in advance for the help.

Smaller mounts earlier style (what's on replacement motor)

Bigger mount later style (what I currently have)
